FAQs

Q: Where is my money going?
A: All money raised goes to Re: Cancer in their effort to provide awareness and support for cancer communities here in Austin and central Texas.

Q: Are the donations made tax deductible?
A: Yes, all donations are tax deductible.

Q: What are some good ways to fundraise?
A: Asking your friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers is a good place to start. For a full list of fundraising ideas, check out our Fundraising Ideas page.

Q: Can I ride for more than one hour?
A: Yes! You can ride for up to three hours. You need to raise $250 for each additional hour after your first.

Q: If I can’t ride for an hour, can I share my bike?
A: Yes! Groups of up to 3 riders can share one hour on a bike. If you choose to do a group, the $250 would be raised collectively (although we encourage you to raise as much as you can!).

Q: Where is online registration?
A: Registration is on this website. Once you are registered, you can start fundraising!

Q: If I only raise $100, can I ride for 15 minutes?
A: Unfortunately, no. We anticipate all spots being filled, so you must raise the full $250 to be able to ride.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Bike shorts and athletic shoes are encouraged. If you don’t have bike shorts, any kind of athletic wear will do.

Q: What can I expect from the ride?
A: First of all, expect to have a lot of fun and feel great about the good you’re doing.

Q: Where will the event be held?
A: The location for 2017 is being finalized. Check back soon!

Q: Where should I park?
A: There is plenty of free surface parking available..

Q: How early should I get to the event?
A: Come when you’d like to join in the fun, but do arrive at least 30 minutes before your ride time.
